Monthly Archives: March 2011
The 2011 road racing season has now kicked off. The Escape Velocity Racing Series is underway with two racing under the belt. The cool air and rested legs help to make for a soft start to the season. These early races are a great way to loosen up for the larger events in months to come. Here are a few shots from the race a couple of weeks back.
This past weekend was the Seattle bike expo at Pier 91 of the Seattle Cruise Ship Terminal. With the Lycra Clad at hand and ridiculous ensembles at a maximum I was there. Worrying that the extreme nature of the people of Seattle may in fact crack the lens of my camera I stuck to the more amusing aspects of the show. Namely the Ryan Leech Trials Demo. I snuck in a shot of the Artistic Cycling Team as well for good measure
and just for fun…
I was lucky enough to get some free tickets to a Vancouver Canucks game a little while back. Right next to the media area at the home end, the seats were front row!!!! not too shabby if you ask me. Getting into Rogers arena they restrict max the lens length to 100mm. Because of this I brought the 10-22mm and a 50mm. Being front row, this limited length still worked pretty well. Here are a few shots from the game.
