Taking some time to slow down
Well, the title of the blog insinuates an urgency, a rush and a desire to move a little quicker than comfortable. Well, I have not exactly been illustrating these traits lately. 2011 has been a bit of a slower start than years past. I am not saying that this is a bad thing, it is just different and to be honest it has been kind of nice. That said, in a few more weeks things will likely start to ramp up again and get rolling a little quicker but in the meantime it is alright to take some time to relax.
This new state of Zen has not really met the requirements of an adventure or experience to write about but the camera is still here, and the photos are still being taken. Until the next true adventure, I have picked a few random photos from the past little bit that I thought appropriate.
More soon,

Look up! There is something new
To be blunt, LOOK UP!!!!
I have added a new page to the blog…. The new page is an area where I have posted photos that have been published in some form or another. Most of them are biking and in conjunction with the company Norco but that isn’t a terrible place to start. Have a quick look through, if you want to know any more about any of them give me a commenting shout!

Starting off 2011 with a bit of a slower pace
The start of 2011 was not necessarily one big adventure. I had no grand destination, no epic ascent, no definable goals of discernible value. This is no white flag though, I have not thrown in the towel on life and all things adventurous. Rather the opposite occurred, for the winter break I took it upon myself to enjoy some of the short and sweet gems close to home. Through snowshoeing, mountain biking, running, and spending time with good friends the holiday and new year was brought in with smiles, friends and high expectations in the year to come.
The following photos are justifiably not all related and not all part of one single story. They do all though, represent the theme of the holidays. These photos show the beauty of the outdoor world, the beauty of the city around and the joy of spending time with friends.
As Cheesy as this all sounds, it is ultimately true…
Happy New Year
2010 in Review – One year down and many to go!
Well, I started this blog off as a means of self advancement, improvement and as simply something to do. With the grand idea of making a daily post for an entire year My sights were sky high. And… Then…. I fell flat on my face. I made it around half way through the year before I was too busy, to far away or simply not motivated enough to continue. Well, rather than totally giving up, the blog had a re-birth. Now a photographic summary of adventures that I have taken the blog has a evolved into something that you may find complete dribble. I hope not though…
Over the past year, I have been to Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and the Yukon. I even made it all the way to Australia at one point. It has been a great year for myself, my photography and my guilty pleasure – Mountain Biking. If you have followed the blog, what was your favorite post of the year? What was your favorite photo? Here are a few highlights of my year in review in no particular order. I hope you can gain just a fraction of the enjoyment that I got out of the experiences, people and places in these photos.
Here is to a great 2011!
