Training Wheels, I remember those

Love the Training wheels. . .

A picture of the park

This is a small park on Wall St in East Vancouver. This bench looks over the straight to North Vancouver. It is little gems like this that make Vancouver so great!

A playground of colour, a colour of age

This photo was taken in a playground next to my work. I really liked the colour of the rope and the sense of age that it portrayed.

A map on the wall

This is an odd photo. It is actually a long exposure of an illuminated wall at a local bar. The map add an intriguing level of contrast to the photo though.

A Boat, oddly out of place

This boat is close to the ocean… but not close enough. Also the garden around it leads me to believe that it may not be seaworthy anymore?

The Light Show, (hopefully this works?)

Something weird is happening and images are not displaying correctly… Not really sure about that?

Anyway, we will try and get this one to show up. This is the light show for the Olympics behind the Burrard St Bridge next to Granville Island in Vancouver.

hmmn, looks like it worked…. stupid wordpress…

Free Concert Mania – Sam Roberts and The Arkells

I head on down to Yaletown’s Livecity venue recently for a free Olympic concert. This is Sam Roberts and Max of The Arkells singing. Great Concert! Can’t wait to go back on Wednesday for Damian Marley.

Another Flower – They are everywhere

The flowers are everywhere in Vancouver, we really are probably 6 weeks ahead of any year I can remember.

A Little More Macro

I was mountain biking a couple of days ago and I stopped to look at an old structure in the woods where I found these mushrooms. They were worthy of a photo.

Riding in the Woods

Here is a riding shot from Burke Mountain in Port Coquitlam BC. This is one of the first shots I have taken with my new Canon 520 EX Flash.
